Questions and Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
What vaccinations does my dog need?
Puppies are required to have their first round of vaccinations before joining our puppy play group. In order to remain in the group, all following vaccines must be administered as per your veterinarian.
Adult dogs must have their Dhpp. Rabies, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella.
All dogs must have a clean fecal result from within the last 90 days.
All dogs are required to be on flea and tick preventative.
Does my dog need to be altered?
Unaltered dogs are accepted into the adventure camp if they start camp before puberty, otherwise they may not begin until altered. This gives us a better sense of the new dog and gives the existing group more time to adjust to the new dog. If the unaltered dog is causing behavior problems within the group he/she will be asked to leave the group until altered.
Overnight boarding of unaltered dogs will be assessed on a case by case basis.
What kind of collar does my dog need to wear?
All dogs are required to have a quick release collar with a name tag.
Prong collars, vibration collars, and shock collars are not allowed.
What is the Meet and Greet?
This is a meeting that will take place at your home, where I can meet your dog, and ask questions to assess if your pup is a good fit for the Adventure Day Camp. The fee for the consultation will be deducted from your first monthly package price. If your puppy started in the puppy play group, then a meet and greet is not necessary if the dog is graduating from one program to another.
Do you do individual walks?
Yes! I provide a reactive dog walking service two nights a week, for a minimum of a month. Would you like to join us? Your dog and I would welcome the opportunity to work with you too!
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes, In Sync Canine LLC is insured and bonded through PetCare Insurance.
Will you discount my adventure day camp package if:
Q: I'm going away on vacation and my dog will not be at camp?
Q: My dog is missing camp because of a listed holiday?
Q: The weather is so bad it's not safe to drive?
To allow for a structured, and individualized service, prices remain as scheduled. Exceptions will be made if camp is canceled because Kerri is out sick or on a planned vacation.
If your dog is out sick and has a doctors note, you may have a partial discount the following month. This will be at our discretion.
What should I bring when my dog is boarding?
Please ONLY bring your dogs' food and medications if needed. Toys and bedding are provided.
